Hi!

I’m Jennifer,
a Founder Coach with Aata

Get to know me a little better ↓

As a student of psychology and biology, I have a deep interest in people and business, and a love for the natural world. I am particularly drawn to working with purpose-led businesses, female founders and the development of inclusive cultures.

Coaching should be a liberating experience.

In our coaching relationship, my focus is on you continuing to be at your best. As you build and grow your business you’ll experience intense pressure, challenging situations and difficult decisions. As the business grows it will require different qualities from you as a leader.

Through our confidential coaching conversations, I’ll support you through these experiences, sharing tools and models to master your mind and evolve your leadership style. You’ll find me to be positive and energetic and also very focussed and willing to provide challenges when appropriate.

My education and career history are broad, giving me a contextual understanding of a wide range of industries, roles and situations. Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked across government, financial services, technology and membership organisations. In project management, strategy and leadership roles.

Over the last seven years, I have helped shape New Zealand’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through economic development initiatives designed to support high-growth businesses to scale. In that time I’ve won multiple national and global startup pitch competitions and built the annual festival and platform organisation Techweek NZ.

My drive to grow business as a force for good, and my belief that one person can change the world, has led me to coach founders who want to live and work in a way that’s calm, conscious, and considered. In New Zealand, we call this approach of being deliberate, purposeful, and intentional in everything we do, ‘aata‘.

As we work together, you will build awareness of your impact in your role, as a leader and on your team. Through this increased awareness you will discover ways in which to adjust your approach to grow the business, support your team and rise above challenges.

My clients value my calming presence, that they can speak freely without being judged and the supportive way in which I challenge them. Find out more by reading Aata’s case studies.
