I believe the most enduring businesses are born
where an uncompromising vision meets deep compassion and first‑principles design.

Who I Work With

  • Mature, often first time founders with a wealth of business experience and networks

  • Founders and co-founders of established businesses facing new levels of complexity

  • People who are emotionally self aware (or ready to be), driven by purpose, and managing high levels of uncertainty

  • Very often, founders who are leveraging tech and driving innovation in their fields

  • Founders committed to growth, recognising that their personal development is directly linked to their business’ development

The very best founders lead with:

Fierce ambition and profound self‑acceptance

Clarity on strategy and care for people

How it works

Our work together goes beyond a series of conversations, it’s a process and a partnership.

Developmental coaching: Like business growth, the process of coaching is cyclical. Through coaching we raise awareness, make sense of new information and choose a course of action or adaptation in your role - effecting shifts in your business and bringing forth new opportunities for reflection, sense-making and growth.

A Partnership: As your coaching partner, you have someone invested in you, who believes in you and who has your back throughout this process.

I have no vested interest in the outcome of your decisions and that’s a great thing for you because it means no expectations or feelings to manage. It is a relationship focused on meeting your needs, not sharing airtime.

It also means I’m thinking of you and your needs outside of our coaching sessions, which can manifest in a variety of ways.

Logistics & FAQs

  • I typically work with a founder for six months minimum, meeting twice per month alternating 90 and 45 min sessions.

My clients often stay longer than 6 months, or return at pivotal points in their journey.

  • When we work together you’ll commit to a 6-month engagement initially, which is a £830 + VAT investment each month.

  • Our partnership extends to whatever I intuit I can give that you need.

In the past, this has included:

    • Bringing in an external operator for practical implementation

    • Introductions to experts

    • Introductions to peers

    • A book in the post

    • Receiving and responding to your updates via email

    • Answering questions via whatsapp

    • Someone to share the ‘wins’ with

    • Sharing an article with you

    • Sharing pages from a book with you

    • Book recommendations

    … the list goes on

Essentially someone who cares and is thinking about you and your needs.

I take on a limited number of clients per year so I have space to be in partnership with you. What I ask in return is your commitment to be present when we are working together, trust in the coaching process and respect my time, showing up when we have agreed and to give me regular feedback.

  • Yes absolutely. For organisational clients; where I’m coaching more than one founder or a founder and key team member, I work on a retained basis and our partnership may extend to alignment sessions for cofounders and top teams, founder coach training, facilitation of team strategy or away days.

As the founder, the work you do for yourself has a ripple effect through your organisation.

When you work on yourself, you’ll work better with your team, save time and mental space.
You’ll find your people operate more effectively, too.

What our sessions look like

Each session is a mix of deep reflection and practical decision-making. Many of the decisions made in coaching will be grounded in governance, organisational design, or cultural practices because that’s where your leadership shows up. I help you get clear on what needs to change, and how to move forward with intention.

In a coaching session we’ll typically move through these four states:

  • Presence: What’s present for you? What are you facing and experiencing?

  • Perceiving: How are you making sense of the situation? What other perspectives could you bring in?

  • Envisioning: What could be possible? How does this fit with your role, the organisation and your vision?

  • Navigating: What are the next steps, decisions, and what else is needed for clarity on what to implement now?

What we work on in coaching

Coaching topics vary from preparing for a board meeting, to managing a difficult relationship, or navigating periods of overwhelm. I’ve summarised the most common types of coaching conversations I have with clients below:

  • As a founder your job description is solving complex problems in novel ways. You’re smart and strategic, and whilst you value the idea of a confidential thinking partner - what you most need help with are the challenges your logic can’t solve.

  • As the founder, you hold the vision for your business. You have a sense of what is possible, but spend most of your time not knowing what’s next - this is perfectly normal! It's easy to get lost in the demands of your role and other’s ideas and advice. Our work together helps you to step back, reflect, and make sense of what you’re hearing, keeping you close to and acting from what you know is possible - your vision - in every interaction.

  • You have an intuitive sense of what needs doing and what you need to thrive but you often get sidelined by competing demands. I hold you accountable for listening to your needs and designing your work-life in a way that enables you to thrive.

  • With coaching, you’ll start holding space for your business to perform and grow without it feeling like work. Keeping you connected to your sense of what the business needs — even when things are moving fast - and continuously translating your role as founder into tactical next steps.

  • You need your team to be focussed and performing, with increasingly less input from you. Deepening your awareness of the interpersonal dynamics between you and your team, you’ll identify and test tweaks to your communication style and behaviours. Giving your team greater clarity and confidence to make decisions, and building your trust in them to do so without you.

  • This requires a novel approach. In our work together I’ll introduce you to ways of navigating decisions and changes that will allow you to save weeks of contemplation and feel clearer and more confident.

This isn’t coaching to “be better” — it’s about leading from who you already are, with more clarity, confidence, and alignment.
